Study of the minimally invasive treatment method for old osteoporosis patients with intertrochanteric fractures

Abstract: Objective To explore the clinical significance of minimally invasive plate osteosynthesis for old osteoporosis patients with intertrochanteric fractures.Methods 48 old osteoporosis patients with intertrochanteric fractures treated with minimally invasive plate osteosynthesis were seleited as experimental group;38 patients treated with conventional operation were selected as control group.Then we compared difference of two group on the treatment and complications.Results The rate of excellent or good for experimental group was 91.7％,and 84.2％ in control group.The difference was statistically significant( x2 =12.55,P ＜ 0.05 ) ;The complication rate was 0 in the experimental group,and 18.4％ in control group,which had statistically significant difference( x2 =15.23,P ＜ 0.05 ).Conclusion In the treatment of old osteoporosis patients with interurochanteric fractures,minimally invasive plate osteosynthesis is an ideal choice.With the correct rehabilitation exercise,appropriate surgical indications and right operation after the surgery could achieve the desired effect of surgery.
