Clinical observation of ornidazole in treatment of trichomonal vaginitis

Abstract: Objective To observe the efficacy of omidazole in the treatment of trichomonal vaginitis.Methods 64 cases with trichomonal vaginitis were divided into two groups randomly.The experiment group(32 cases) was given ornidazole,while the control group was given metronidazole.Changes in symptoms laboratory tests,vaginal examination and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The efficacy of experiment group was significantly better than the control group( P ＜ 0.05).The experiment group's adverse reactions were sigenificantly less than the control group ( P ＜ 0.05 ).Conclusiou Ornidazole used in the treatment of trichormonal vaginitis shows a significant effect with long duration and less adverse reactions,so it's should be promoted.
