Abstract:
Evaluate the outcomes, success and failure of bile-duct stent procedure. Subject and method: 29 patients including 22 males and 7 females, aged from 34 to 81 years old (mean age: 53). Patients were diagnosed obstructive jaundice and found causes by clinical examination, blood tests, ultrasound examination, CT scan, gastroscopy with biopsy, and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography. Results: bile-duct stent procedure is a very effective treatment (72%). It is less-invasive method, few complications and comfortable for patients
