Clinical observation on the effect of meglumine in treatment of sudden deafness

Abstract: Objective To observe the clinical efficacy and adverse reactions of meglumine in treartment of sudden deafness.Methods 60 pctients With sudden deafness were randomly divided into control group of 30 patients (conventional treatment)and the observation group(30 cases,meglumine treatment)before and after treatment,the ear hearing level changes in tirmitus,vertigo situation were compared.Results After a course of treatment,the observation group were cured,15 cases,10 cases,ineffective in 5 patients In the control group,10 cases markedly effective,effective in 5 cases,15 cases ineffective,clinical efficacy was significant(U =2.6 35,P ＜ 0.05).After treatment,hearing,tinnitus,dizziness and other symptoms significantly improved compared with before treatment(t =2.720,2.824,2.936,x2 =2.795,2.948,2.954,all P ＜ 0.05)after treatment,observation group improved more significantly than the control group(t =2.682,2.715,2.719,all P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Meglumine in treatment of sudden deafness had exact effect satisfaction for the recovery of hearing.
