Abstract:
Objective To study the correlation of homocysteine(Hcy),S100B and nerve function in patients with acute cerebral infarction. Methods Eighty-six patients with acute cerebral infarction were enrolled into the observation group and eighty-five healty people were enrolled into the control group. The Hcy,S100B and nerve function were detected. Results The Hcy and S100B in the observation group were higher than in the control group(all P <0.01).The score of nerve function in the observation group was (19.29 ± 10.27),which has a positive correlation with Hcy(r=0.2793,P<0.05) and a positive correlation with S100B(r =0.4017,P<0.05).Conclusion The Hcy and S100B in patients with acute cerebral infarction can be seemed as a marker of severity of the disease.
