Abstract: This paper probes into the scientific research management at a teaching hospital,where three responsibilities are required in clinical service,medical education and research.The staffs＇ need for scientific research is discussed base on Maslow＇s need-hierarchy theory.An incentive system is also proposed for research and professional development of the hospital.
