Abstract: ObjectiveTo discuss when and how to do the operation about the acute cholangitis of severe type(ACST).MethodsThe clinical data of 14 cases of ACST from January 1990 to January 2010 were retrospectively analyzed.ResultsThere were 14 cases recovered fully,and all were discharged.ConclusionEarly diagnosis,catching the chance and style of the operation to ACST may be the effective methods to reduce the mortality of ACST
