Clinical study on azithromycin combined with pidotimod in treatment of 215 children with mycoplasma pneumonia

Abstract:
ObjectiveTo explore the effect of pidotimod combined with azithromycin in treatment of children with mycoplasma pneumonia.MethodsThe MPP hospitalized children,according to the order of treatment were randomly divided into treatment group 110 patients and 104 patients in the control group.The patients in antrol group received azithromycin injection 10mg · kg- 1 · d- 1 intravenous,course 7d.The treatment group on the basis of azithromycin,oral pidotimod 400mg,twice daily treatment for 14 days.After treatment,clinical effect and immunological parameters were observed.Results The total efficiency of the treatment group was 96.4％,67.3％ in the control group,treatment group was higher than the control group,the difference was statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05 ).Symptoms inprovement of the treatment group was better than the control group,the difference was statistically significant ( P ＜ 0.05 ).Treatment group,CD4+,CD4+/CD8+ were significantly increased wrpared with the control group,the difference was statistically significant( P ＜ 0.01 ),the control group had no such effect.ConclusionPidotimod could regulate immune function in children with.pidotimod combined azithromycin was effective in treatment of children with mycoplasma pneumonia.
