Abstract:
Objective To detect the effects of chemotherapy on the immune function of patients with ovarian cancer. Methods Thirty-four patients with ovarian cancer(ovarian cancer group)who accepted chemotherapy were collected.Thirty healthy women were used as control group. The lymphocyte sub-cluster CD3+,CD4+,CD8+ and CD25+of peripheral blood were detected by flow cytometry. Results The peripheral blood CD3+,CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ in ovarian cancer group were lower than those in control group(0.5524±0.1121 vs.0.6685±0.0869,0.3183±0.0864 vs.0.4139±0.0524,1.06±0.29 vs.1.43±0.21),CD4+ CD25+was higher than that in control group(0.1026±0.0418 vs.0.0287±0.0132),there was significant difference between two groups(P<0.05).There was no significant changes observed 1 week after chemotherapy(P>0.05).Three weeks after chemotherapy, the CD3+,CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ in ovarian cancer group were higher and CD4+ CD25+ was lower, there were significant difference between two groups(P<0.05).Conclusions The ratio of lymphocyte sub-cluster is imbalance in the patients with ovarian cancer.Chemotherapy can improve the immunosuppression condition and recovery the ratio of lymphocyte sub-cluster in the patients with ovarian cancer.
