Abstract: Primary hyperuricemia and gout are multifactorial conditions with strong genetic components. recently genome-wide association studies (GWAS) have revealed that several genes are related to primary hyperuricemia and gout which offers a thought for the research into the etiology, disease risk prediction, and prevention and treatment of this disease.
