Abstract:
Objective To explore relationship among different degrees of hypertension and plasma homocysteine and their clinical significance. Methods According to ,95 hypertension patients were collected and divided into mild,moderate and severe groups,65 patients from the healthy check-up selected as control group, then the plasma Hcy level was measured and compared between the groups. Results Compared with the normal group ( 12. 5 ± 3. 1 ) μ mol/L, Hcy plasma levels of mild ( 15.4 ± 4. 8 ) μmol/L ( t = - 4. 543, P < 0. 01 ), moderate ( 23.2 ± 5. 6 ) μmol/L ( t = - 14. 291, P < 0. 01 ), severe (28. 1 ± 6. 7) μmol/L( t = - 18. 090,P <0. 01 ) hypertension group increased significantly,severe group was obviously higher than patients among moderate group,moderate group was significantly higher than patients among mild group,statistical significance among different groups were found( F = 118. 550, P < 0. 01 ). Conclusion High Hcy was an important independent risk factor,the monitoring of plasma homocysteine level for hypertension contribute to diagnosis and understand disease progression.
