Abstract:
Bronchopulmonary dysplasia is a chronic lung disease of newborn. In recent vears.its incidence is increasing.Bone marrow derived mesenchymal stem cells(BMSC)have been shown to differentiate into a variety of mesenchymal cell types. It has been shown that these cells can be separated.purificated.amplificated and administered to animals and patients in clinical trials. This article focuses on the pathology.pathogenesis of the bmnchopulmonary dysplasia, and biological characteristics of BMSC,and indicates that the cells in the circulation Can engraft in the lung and offer effective protection against lung injuries.
