Abstract: Objective To analyze the adverse drug reactions of Imipenem/cilastati for the treatment of diseases in recent year and supply useful information for the rational application in clinical therapy.Methods The literatures since 1995 about adverse drug reactions of Imipenem/cilastati from the data-base (CNKI) were collected and then the data were analyzed.Results The incidence rate of adverse reactions of Imipenem/cilastati in clinical therapy was raised and many in vivo systems were damaged from the adverse reactions.According to the actual situation of adverse reactions, those treatment can be given to get better clinical results, which was given oxygen, adjusting the dosage and dosing interval,drug withdrawal and other treatment;patients whose nervous system damage was given a small amount of sedatives or antipsychotics, patients whose cardiovascular system damage were given nutrition, renal dysfunction were treated with hemodialysis treatment.Conclusion It is necessary to use Imipenem/cilastati rationally to avoid the adverse drug reactions.
