Abstract:
Objective: To investigate the effect of different therapies on 159 children with anorexia caused by non-disease factors. Methods: Chinese traditional medicine therapy (CTMT) and psychotherapy and the combination of CTMT and psychotherapy were applied to three groups of anorexia children respectively. Results: The cure rate of the CTMT group was 27.5%, the psychotherapy group was 31.8%, and the combination group was 89.3%. Conclusion: The combination of psychotherapy and Chinese traditional medicine was much more effective than psychotherapy or Chinese traditional medicine alone in the treatment of anorexia in children.
