Abstract:
Statistical observation was made on in-patients in the Department of Urology, Presbyterian Medical Center, Taegu, Korea, during the period from August 1, 1970 through July 31, 1975. 1. Among 1114 cases of in-patients, 851 cases were male and 253 cases were female with a ratio of 3.2:1. Most common diseases were ureter stone (16.2%), renal tbc. (8.9%), bladder tumor (7.2%) and B. P. H. (5.5%) in order. 2. Of 1114 in-patients, operation was done in 845 cases (75.8%). 3. Of 845 operation cases, nephrectomy (13.4%) was the most common operation and T. U. R. (12.8%), ureterolithotomy (9.6%) and hydrocelectomy (5.9%) in order.
