Abstract:
OBJECTIVE: To explore the influencing factors and its complications of cerebrovascular stent implantation in treating cerebrovascular disease. METHODS: The database of CNKI and Medline was retrieved with keYwords of "stent implantation, cerebrovascular, complication" by computer from 1989 to 2009. The literature was selected according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. Totally 21 papers were analyzed from clinical application of cerebrovascular stent, influencing factors and complications. RESULTS: Cerebrovascular stent had evident effect on treating cerebrovascular diseases, which could be affected by stent biocompatibility, blood clotting response, and hemodynamics. The complications following stent implantation would result in a serious impact to patients; therefore, it should be prevented and cured effectively. CONCLUSION: Cerebrovascular stent implantation plays a vital role in treating cerebrovascular diseases, however, its influencing factors and complications need pay more attention.
