Abstract:
Tumor markers lay the foundation of early diagnosis for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).Besides alpha-fetoprotein, glypican 3 is confirmed to be a novel tumor marker for HCC with high specificity and sensitivity, especially at immediately early stage of small carcinoma. Glypican 3 has high value of clinical application and may bring new hope for precise diagnosis of HCC.
