Abstract:
Breast cancer patients treated by aromatase inhibitor(AI) may cause ovarian failure, resulting in decreased hormone levels. Then bone loss increases, which may result in thinning bone and osteoporosis. In clinic, attention should be given and appropriate means must be chosen to prevent and treat this disease. Calcium + vitamin D, diphosphonate, selective estrogen receptor modulator, Chinese medicine are recommen-ded to reduce the incidence of esteoporosis.
