Abstract: Objective To investigate the nursing of elderly patients with atrial fibrillation treated by atrioventrieular junction ablation combined with permanent pacemaker implantation. Methods The nurs-ing care process in 60 elderly patients with atrial fibrillation treated by atrioventricular junction ablation combined with permanent pacemaker implantation was reviewed and analyzed. Results All 60 patients had successful outcomes without any complication. Conclusions Preoperative psychological nursing and preparation, rigorous observation and nursing during and post operation guarantee a successful operation.
