Influence of community health education on the life style of patients with primary hypertension

Abstract: ObjectiveTo discuss the influence of community health education on the life style of patients with primary hypertension. MethodsIn the form of lectures, consultation, playing video tape and delivering materials in health education, the community health education concerning psychological nursing, proper food program, timely and reasonable sport, monitoring of blood pressure and timely taking medicine was carried out in 268 patients with hypertension. The effect also was observed using t test and χ2 test. ResultsThe differences between the effect of blood pressure control in patients with hypertension before and after education had statistical significance. The changes of life style before and after education also had statistical significance. ConclusionsAfter the community health education, the patients with primary hypertension will know more about the hypertension, which is beneficial for them to form a healthy life style to improve the effect of blood pressure control.
