Abstract: Objective To investigate the correlation between serum adiponectin level and inflammatory factors in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM).Methods In our hospital out-patient and patients with T2DM were divided into combined macrovascular T2DM group(A group) 53 cases;T2DM without macroangi-opathy group(Bgroup) 47 cases;30 cases of healthy people as control group.The contents of insulin,glycosylated hemoglobin (HbAIc),blood lipids,free fatty acids(FFA),C-reactive protein(CRP),adiponectin(APN),leptin and tumor necrosis factor(TNF-α),insulin sensitivity index(ISI) and insulin resistance index(IR) were detected.Results ISI,IR,FFA,CRP,APN,Leptin,TNF-α levels were higher(P<0.05);anti-inflammatory treatment was significantly decreased(all P<0.05);APN level and HbAlc,HOMA-IR,CRP,TNF-α was significantly negatively correlated(P<0.05).Conclusion APN is a T2DM and atheroscherosis protection factor,anti-inflammatory treatment may improve the prognosis of T2DM.
