Abstract:
Objective To evaluate the feasibility and efficacy of laparoseopic high ligation of internal sperrnatie vein by using two-port three-trocar technique. Methods Twelve patients (17 latersis) diagnosed of varieocele were treated with laparoscopie high ligation of internal spermatie vein by using two-port three-troear technique under general anesthesia from Aug. 2009 to Nov. 2009. Small incision was made at the lower navel margin and one 5 mm port was inserted at the middle of the navel and the symphysis pubis. Varieoeele was treated by laparoscopic high ligation of internal spermafic vein. Results All operations were completed successfully. Mean operation time was 23(18-26)min unilaterally and 33 (30-34)min bilaterally. The average hospital stay was 2. 7 (2-3)day post-operatively. Follow-up was scheduled from 3 to 6 months. There was starless, no testicular atrophy and recurrence were observed postoperatively. Conclusions Laparoseopie high ligation with two-port three-trocar technique for the treatment of varicocele is minimally invasive, safe and efficient.
