Treatment of 60 cases of fatty liver with Tiaozhisugan Decoction combined with simvastatin

Abstract: Objective To study the effect of treating fatty liever with Tiaozhisugan decoction combined with simvastatin. Methods A total of 60 cases with fatty liver were randomly recruited into a control group and a treatment group.The control group was treated with simvastatin, vitamin E, and pioglitazone, while the treatment group was additionally treated with Tiaozhisugan decoction on that basis. Results The total effective rate was 93.9% and 79.6% in the treatment group and the control group respectively, the difference showing statistical difference (χ2=2.586, P＜0.01 ) .Conclusion It was effective to treat fatty liver with Tiaozhisugan decoction combined with simvastatin.
