Abstract:
This paper is intended to figure out how to develop and maintain the traditional Chinese medical (TCM)thesaurus in the Internet Era. The history of TCM thesaurus was reviewed. The function of TCM thesaurus in searching information in internet and the impact of internet to thesauri were discussed. Suggestions on descriptor/term selection, term relations, and thesaurus maintaining were put forward.
