Abstract:
Epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) occurs as a basic physiological process during the embryonic development. The latest studies find that EMT also plays an important role in the progression of tumors invasion and metastasis. In the course of tumor progression, EMT involves a variety of molecular mechanisms and complex networks. Thus,the in-depth research of EMT mechanisms and markers have a high prognostic and therapeutic value in aggressive cancers.
