Abstract:
Objective To explore the curative effect of budesonide combined with terbutaline via atomiza-tion-inhalation in treatment of the acute episode of infantile asthma and its impaction on pulmonary function. Methods 80 children with acute episode of bronchial asthma were randomly divided into observation group and control group. Both groups received comprehensive therapy, moreover, the observation group was treated with aerosol inhalation of budesonide and terbutaline additionally. Results The excellence rate (65% ) and the total effective rate (98% ) of the observation group was significantly higher than those of control group(30% ,75% ) (P <0.05). In control group, there were no significant differences in FEV, and FEV,% between the pre-treatment and post-treatment (P>0.05). In observation group,FEV1 and FEV1% post-treatment were higher than those in pre-treatment(P<0.05). The improvements of FEV, and FEV, % in observation group were significantly higher than those in control group ( P < 0.05 ). Conclusion The treatment of budesonide combined with terbutaline via atomization-inhalation for the acute episode of infantile asthma could improve the clinical efficacy and pulmonary status, which was a safe, quick and effective method for children' s bronchial asthma.
