Abstract:
Cancer stem cell (CSC) is the source of tumor development and metastasis, and may become the target of cancer therapy in the future. Niche refers to a micro-environment that makes up the basis of stem cell existence. Niche is involved in tumor development by regulating the growth and changes of CSC. It is also closely related to tumor migration and metastasis. Eradicating CSC through modifying niche may be a new therapeutic strategy for curing cancer.
