Abstract:
Stromal cells are the important part of the bone marrow microenvironment. They provide a suitable environment for the self-renewal, proliferation and differentiation of the hematopoietic stem cells. Stromal cells include dendritic cells, macrophages, fibroblasts, endothelial cells and adipocytes. They secrete cytokines, extracellular matrix and provide direct cellular contaction to regulate hematopoiesis. Dysfunction of the stromal cells will lead to all kinds of hemopathy and immune system diseases directly.
