Abstract:
MicroRNA (miRNA) is a kind of small non-protein coding RNA and can negatively regulate the expression of target genes at the transcriptional level. In tumors miRNA can act as oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes, and its deregulation in tumors may be a possible reason for tumor progression. Several studies have established the potential usefulness of miRNA as therapeutic targets for tumor metastasis.
