Index Kewensis lists 80 genera worldwide, while Tran Ngoc Ninh lists 60 genera of uncaria. In Vietnam, there are 3 genera of uncaria schreb “Common plants in Vietnam – Le Kha Ke” commonly used in traditional medicine for treating hypertension and the symtoms of dizzy, headache and insomnia
