Abstract:
Urethral rupture and stenosis make difficulties in daily activities and reduces the patient’s quality of life. Several treatments for these conditions are available. The study reviewed 65 cases with urethral rupture and stenosis that were treated at the Department of Urology, Cho Ray Hospital during 2 yeas from 1996 to 1997. Results: The end-end urethral anastomosis produced the high rate of success. The Leveuf’s approach is favorable for cases with penial urethral stenosis. The Moseur’s procedure provided limit result.
