Abstract:
The difference between concept of the "UDI" and" medical device code" is discussed. History of medical device code is reviewed. Function, principle, methods of this code and its relationship with medical device nomenclature, classification, classified catalog and "UDI" is proposed. Meanwhile, suggestion of the establishment of medical device code system is proposed.
