Abstract:
In this study, the flower essential oil from Cananga odorata (Lamb.) Hook f.et Thomas, Annonaceae, of Vietnam was studied by GC and GC-MS,IR.20 components of the oil, intotal amounting to 93.3%, were identified. Linalool (21.3%), geranyl acetate (6.2%), -caryophyllene (7.3%), -cubebene+ germacrene D+g-cadinene (27.8%) and benzylbenzoate (13.4%) were the major components of the oil.
