Measurement of weight (volume) of thyroid of patients with basedow by ultrasound, scintigraphy and hand.

Abstract:
The volumes of thyroid of 133 patients with basedow were determined. The results have shown that the volume of thyroid measured by ultrasound was 39,18+/- 19,02 ml and by hand was 37,18 +/- 9,04 ml. The weights of thyroid measured by scintigraphy were different as formulation of calculation. The results calculated by formulation of Okubo were the same as these by ultrasound and by hand.
