Evaluation of drug utilization in the treatment of Basedow's disease at the Endocrinnology

Abstract:
For the purpose of basedow treatment, 4 groups of drugs were used synthetic antithyroid (100%), (blocker (91.67%), tranquillosedative (92.78%), corticoid (58.33%). 4 combinative regimens were prescribed. Among them, combination of 4 drugs was used most (55.43%). Side effects of PTU were seen in 2.11% of total patients (e.g. allergy and jaundice) and 1.42% of total patients suffered side effect of prednisolon (epigastric pain).
