- Abstract: Acteoside was used for anaerobic incubation with rat intestinal flora in vitro. HPLC was used to detect the changes of acteoside at different incubation time points and HPLC-Q-TOF-MS was used to identify the metabolites of acteoside. The results showed that acteoside could be metabolized by rat intestinal flora in vitro and the metabolites were 3,4-dihydroxyphenyl acid, caffeic acid and 3-(3'-hydroxyphenyl) propionic acid.
