Abstract:
We proposed a two-dimensional deformation analysis method in regional ventricular wall motion by using tagged magnetic resonance (MR) images to evaluate the wall functions. In a region surrounded by four image slices, a material point is traced to obtain the displacement and strains. MR images were taken 24 phases over one cardiac cycle in the long and short axes of heart.
