Abstract:
OBJECTIVETo explore the feasibility of one-stage repair of hypospadias using scrotal septal skin flap based on peri-meatus dartos fascia.
METHODSNine patients were repaired by this method.
RESULTSAll patients achieved good results without urethral fistula or stricture. The angle of the penis to the scrotum is normal.
CONCLUSIONThe flap has reliable blood supply and the flap creation is easy. It is a simple, convenient and effective method for one-stage repair of hypospadias.
