Abstract:
To find out the rate of HCV infection in some groups of subject in Hai Phong province, 31840 serum samples were tested by Elisa 3.0 for anti HCV antibody. Prevalence of HCV infection was shown in healthy persons of 1.69%. That rate was higher significantly in regular blood donor, prisoners, massage worker, foreigner, tourist staff, persons with STD than this in healthy person while there is not been difference among healthy person, fishman, island habitants and seaman
