- Abstract: Implant-based breast reconstruction is the most common choice in breast cancer patients. Recently,the acellular dermal matrix (ADM) technique has been widely used in implant-based breast reconstruction in the western countries. This article briefly reviews the biological characteristics,history,types,surgical techniques,and postoperative complications of ADM.
