Abstract:
14 patients with xanthelasma palperbraum of the eyelids have been treated with the CO2 laser. The lipomatous yellow plaque are accurately photovaporized in a bloodless field until the lesion is totally eradicated. The operation with the CO2 laser does not depend on a shape, size, position of the lesion. Satisfactory cosmetic results were achived in 13 of 14 patients without significant scarring.
