Drug information in the hospital: A necessary activity for rational safely and economical drug utilization in the therapeutics

Abstract:
National policy of drug in the hospital, Ministry of Health have been conducted concretely by directions, circular letter: Direction of 03/BYT-CT February, 25th 1997 about supply, procedure, management, using in the hospital. Circular letter 08/BYT-TT July 4th 1997 on organization, function, mission of Council for drug and treatment in the hospital. Direction of 04/1998/CT-BYT March 3rd 1998 about strengthen the use of drug, safely, economical in the hospital, other medical center. Nowadays, there are many drug resistant bacteria, because of antibiotic, abuse. Strengthen drug information system, and must have National Antitoxicant Center and Drug Information Unit in hospitals should be considered.
