Abstract:
Two children, 2 3/12 years old and 1 6/12 years old, were admitted due to the chief complaints of unilateral nontender scrotal enlargement. Radical orchiectomy through the high inguinal skin incision were made and pathologically diagnosed as yolk sac tumor. The one is in careful follow up without specific additional therapy, but the other was taken scheduled chemotherapy and retroperitoneal lymph node dissection because of identified metastasis. A brief review of literature about yolk sac tumor of the testis is made.
