Abstract:
The specificity of acupoint effects is the core of acupuncture theories and clinical practices. Based on summarization and analysis of ancient literature and contemporary research achievements by using data mining techniques, it is preliminarily held that the specificity of acupoint effects has its relativity and a certain law, which can be summarized as "course of meridian is the basis and confluence of meridian qi is the key", that is, the specificity of acupoint effects is closely correlated with the course of meridian and the confluence of meridian qi.
