Situation of viral hepatitis infection among patients with acute hepatitis in the Institute of Clinical Medicine and Tropical Disease

Abstract:
485 patients were admitted in Institute of Clinical Medicine and Tropical diseases from 12/1995 to 1/1999, from which 72.4% were male and 27.6% were female. Most of the patients under 40 years old (77.3%). The rate of infecting viral hepatitis B is highest: 55.1%, HAV: 12.8%, HEV: 4.3%, HCV: 2.9% and rate of patients with multiple hepatitis virus infection is 18.1%. Besides 6.8% patients don't have the serum marker in the serum.
