- Abstract: The recent revision of the Bioethics and Safety Act has created some confusion as to the appropriate use of biospecimens in research. Here, to avoid misunderstandings, we outline the changes to policies on the use of biospecimens in guidelines provided in a question-and-answer format, citing relevant examples where appropriate.
