Abstract:
The study was conducted on 40 patients aged 16 years old or more who had post-head trauma psychotic disorders and received in-patient treatment in the Central Institute of Psychiatry. The patients were examined clinically and followed up the disease progress during treatment. Is was found that the common psychiatric disorders after a head trauma were delusions, including harm-, link- and watch for-suffered delusions, hallucinations, including visual and hearing hallucinations. Motor-linguistic stimulation. While the psychotic symptoms are more common in close head trauma and the symptoms of mental decline were predominant in open head injuries.
