Abstract:
The cutaneous manifestations of Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome(AIDS) include many conditions and can give some diagnostic clues to early detection of HIV infection. We report the case of a 32-year old man in whom AIDS initially manifested itself with herpes zoster and multiple episodes of purpuras(idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura). He also had seborrheic dermatitis, oral candidiasis, and proximal subungual onychomycosis.
