Microscopic appearances of T-cell peripheral lymphoma

Abstract:
The authors presented microscopic appearances of 30 cases of T cell peripheral lymphoma, which are diagnosed and classified at Pathology Department University of Pharmacy and Medicine in Hå ChÝ Minh City. The results: Almost of cases, the tumors had heterogeneous cellular composition with significant amounts of reactive cell such as plasma cells, eosinophils, neutrophils and epitheloid histiocytes. The proliferating cells usually ranged from small, variously atypical lymphocytes to medium-sized to large lymphoid cells including immunoblasts. 25% of cases were predominant large cells. The tumor cells ranged alveolar feature in one case. In another case, the cells are spindle as fibroblast. The different diagnosis with benign reaction, Hodgkin's disease, and another kinds of lymphomas are discussed
