Some physiological responses in 3000-m armed runners.

Abstract:
Participants of this study were 43 male students from the Military Academy of Medicine who were 23+/-2 years of age with mean body- weights were 53.2+/-4.72kg. Participants underwent an exercise of 3000-m armed running. Results showed that except temperature of chest and forearm skin, other post-running measurements were higher than those at baseline. Measurements of thermo-status included mean cutaneous temperature (35.86+/-0.48oC), body-core temperature (38.6+/-0.48oC), mean body temperature (37.86+/-0.40oC), heat-storing amount (32.7+/-1.69Kcal/m2), pulse rate (130.1+/-18.16 pulses per minute and perspiration amount (0.945+/-0.205kg).
